LAB: ACI OSPF Routing for External Layer 3 Connectivity
Topology:
TASK: Follow the below following task to configure OSPF Routing to reach External Network subnets which is behind External Switch.
TASK1: Configure OSFP Interface Policy with following details:
- NAME: DCL-OSPF-INTERFACE-POLICY
- Network Types: Broadcast
- Interface Control – Advertise Subnets: Checked
TASK 2: Create External Routed Network with following details:
- Create External Routed outside network with name DCL-OSPF-EXTERNAL-ROUTED-NW on VRF DCLessons_VRF and attach the External Routed Domain you created in previous LAB named DCL-EXTERNAL-ROUTED-DOMAIN.
- Enable OSPF with AREA ID 2, and Area Type: NSSA
- Use Node profile named DCL-OSPF-NODE-PROFILE with Node ID 102, Router-ID 102.11.1.2 and Router-ID as Loopback Interface: checked
- Create OSPF Interface Profile named DCL-OSPF-INT-PROFILE, use authentication type MD5 and key DCLESSONS123, use OSPF Interface Policy created in TASK 1.
- Create SVI for Leaf 102/e1/5, encap vlan 112 with ip address 100.11.11.2/24
- Create External EPG DCL-OSPF-EXTERNAL-EPG with subnet 11.2.2.0/24
- Create a Contracts between named DCL-CONTRACT-OSPF with subject name SUBJECT-ANY and enable Apply both direction and Reserve filter ports checked also use DCL-FILTER-ANY filter.
- Use the above Contracts on Web_EPG on provided side and External EPG on Consumer side.
- Associate External Routed network to bridge Domain DCLessons_DB and advertise the subnets to External Routed Network.
