LAB Configure LAN QOS Policies for FCOE

Task :

Create a series of QoS policies that can later be applied to vNICs or vHBAs based on the following

Name:Limit-to-1Gb-BW

• Cos:1
• Rate-Limit :1 Gbps
• Allow Host to Override CoS : No

Name:CoS-5_10per-BW

• Cos:5
• Rate-Limit : No Limit
• Allow Host to Override CoS : No

Name:Host-Control-BE

• Cos:1
• Rate-Limit :No Limit
• Allow Host to Override CoS : Yes

Solution:

In the left navigation pane, click the LAN tab, navigate to LAN >> Policies >> root, right-click QoS Policies, and then click Create QoS Policy.

Enter the information to create the policy as shown. Recall that Priority Best Effort is CoS 1. Note that the Rate is displayed in Kbps, so we must enter 1,000,000 kbps.
